The Mayan civilization was the most advanced civilization of its time. They had build huge monolithic stone structures similar to the pyramids of Egypt. The construction and the reason for building such huge structures which still stand tall today is still a mystery.
They were keen astronomers and had unbeatable knowledge about astronomy and space exploration.These knowledge of stars and space made them develop a calendar, Known as the Mayan calendar. This calendar is the greatest mystery of time. It is very accurate that it still predicts various lunar and solar cycles! Was these immense knowledge acquired by mayans naturally by observation with primitive technology?(Even without telescope) or were they getting wisdom about the cosmos , from an ET life who visited earth!?
There were controversial debates about the mayan calendar, which most of the people believe "Is a warning to the human race that the world will end on dec 21 2012." I personally dont believe that the world will end on the dec 21. But i do believe that dec 21 2012, will be a day which will change man kind for ever!! All religious text believe that the GODS will return!! Is mayans predicting a day when the creators of us and our planet come back to show who they are?
I doubt,The increase in number of ufo sightings in all parts of the globe is a tactic of ET's to make us understand that we are not alone in the universe and make us prepare for the day " The day of return"!
So lets wait and see!
